Identifying and developing your own leadership style improves performance and relationships. Leadership models play a key role in shaping culture and task outcomes.

Workshop 2

Developing Yourself and Others

Identify your own development needs and those of others, recognizing different learning styles. Develop yourself and others to meet organizational goals by analyzing learning options and utilizing support mechanisms. Create and monitor a Personal Development Plan to track progress.

Workshop 3

Communication In the
Workplace

Effective communication is crucial in the workplace, involving stages like message delivery and feedback. Overcome communication barriers and choose the right written or oral methods for different situations, each with its pros and cons. Non-verbal cues also play a key role in communication effectiveness. Feedback is valuable for improvement and clarity.

Workshop 4

Negotiating and Networking In the Workplace

Understand techniques for influencing others to achieve workplace goals and reduce resistance during negotiations. Aim for win-win outcomes while managing conflict. Recognize the value of networking and maintain strong professional relationships within your network.

How will this be assessed?

This qualification will be assessed by Assignments/Personal development plan & Leadership assessment and evalution.

How do i get funding?

You may be eligible for an advanced learner loan if you are aged 19 or over, and do not hold an existing level 3 qualification (or above).

Getting an advanced learner loan doesn’t depend on your household income or your employment status, and there is no credit check. You won’t have to pay anything back until you are earning more than £25,000 per year (before tax and other deductions).

Advanced learner loans are suitable for anyone who:

  • Is aged 19 or above at the start of the programmes
  • Is studying for an eligible course at level 3, 4, 5 or 6 in education or training
  • Fulfils residency criteria

This course is also available without a learner loan and you can pay over 9 monthly instalments (1 x£226 plus 8 x £220)
