Bootcamp Overview
This Skills Bootcamp is designed to support women working in the hospitality and care industry to build confidence, leadership skills, and career readiness.

Learning Journey
This bootcamp combines a series of online workshops with one-to-one coaching and reflective post-work activities, helping learners grow both personally and professionally while developing their leadership potential.
The programme begins with Personal Development – A Journey of Self-Discovery, where learners explore the challenges women face in leadership, such as the “glass ceiling,” and develop greater self-awareness and emotional intelligence. They also learn how to create a Personal Development Plan to guide their growth throughout the course.
In Effective Communication – The Power of Voice, participants learn to use communication to assert themselves as confident female leaders, adapt their style to different audiences, and apply active listening to build stronger relationships across hospitality environments.
The next stage, Relationship Building, focuses on teamwork, networking, and promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion. Learners explore how professional behaviour and collaboration can enhance both personal success and customer satisfaction.
In Impact & Influence, participants develop their leadership approach — learning how to plan work, set goals, and motivate teams while using their individual strengths to inspire others. This is followed by Championing Others and Resolving Conflict, which covers empathy-led conflict resolution, understanding bias, and supporting positive workplace culture.
The programme concludes with Project Management Essentials, giving learners the tools to write business cases, manage small projects, and present their ideas with confidence. Each stage is supported by post-work reflections, knowledge questions, and coaching sessions focused on applying learning, developing professional behaviours, and tracking progress through the PDP.
By the end of the programme, learners will have enhanced their leadership skills, improved their communication and confidence, and developed practical strategies to progress within the hospitality and care industry.
