Level 4 AI Business Analyst Apprenticeship

We’re launching a Level 4 AI Business Analyst apprenticeship designed to develop confident, high-impact business analysts from people already working in your organisation.

If you have project coordinators gathering requirements, operations staff solving process problems, or subject matter experts who need structured analytical frameworks, this programme gives them the skills to do business analysis work at a professional level.

What the programme covers

The apprenticeship runs remotely over 10 workshops covering business investigation techniques, process modelling, requirements elicitation, stakeholder analysis, data analysis, and change management.

What makes it different is how AI is integrated throughout. Learners don’t just learn traditional business analysis methods. They develop AI-assisted techniques in parallel. Process mining to identify bottlenecks. AI-supported data analysis to spot patterns. Automated requirements validation. AI-enhanced stakeholder mapping.

By the end of the programme, they’re equipped to lead business analysis work in technology-driven environments. They understand how to bridge technical and business stakeholders, how to work with digital transformation teams, and how to deliver measurable business benefits.

Why AI matters for business analysts

UK Government research projects that roles involving core AI activities could make up 12% of the workforce by 2035, around 3.9 million positions. Business analysts sit right at the heart of this transformation.

The traditional business analyst skill set hasn’t disappeared, but AI is fundamentally changing how this work gets done. The analysts who thrive will be those who understand how to use AI tools alongside their core skills, not replacing human judgment but augmenting it.

Our track record

We’ve been delivering apprenticeships for years. 75% of learners on our programmes get promoted during or within 12 months of completing their training. We recently reduced turnover by 18% in one organisation through a company-wide training initiative focused at this level.

These results come from developing people who already understand the business, already have relationships with stakeholders, and already want to progress. External hires bring skills, but they don’t bring organisational knowledge. By the time they’re fully effective, you’ve often invested as much as you would have spent training someone internally.

Who should you put forward

The strongest candidates are people already doing elements of business analysis work. Project coordinators gathering requirements. PMO analysts tracking progress and identifying issues. Operations staff improving processes. Subject matter experts from finance, HR, IT, or customer operations who understand the business deeply but need the analytical frameworks to drive change.

If someone is working across teams, handling data, solving business problems, or involved in process improvement, they’re usually a strong candidate for this programme.

How it's funded

The Level 4 Business Analyst apprenticeship has a maximum funding band of £18,000. If your organisation pays the apprenticeship levy, the full cost can be covered through your existing levy contributions. For non-levy paying organisations, the government covers 95% of the cost.

If you’d prefer to discuss your specific situation first, we’re happy to arrange a one-to-one call.
