The Applying Data for Business Impact apprenticeship is a 16-month, fully funded programme for business analysts, IT managers, operations managers, and project managers who want to move beyond basic data handling and develop the advanced analytical skills to drive strategic decisions and measurable business improvement.
Across 8 workshops, learners develop advanced data skills covering Python, SQL, Power BI, DAX modelling, predictive statistics, AI integration, and data governance, and apply them to live business challenges in their own workplace. Delivery is flexible, with organisations able to choose between fully remote, blended, or face-to-face, depending on what works best for their team.
There is no cost to eligible employers, and at the end of it, learners come away with a recognised Level 4 Data Analyst qualification.
Already working with data and ready to go deeper. Building advanced Python, SQL, and predictive modelling skills to solve complex business problems.
Managing systems and data infrastructure and ready to add analytical depth. Gaining the Power BI, automation, and governance skills to drive data-led transformation.
Responsible for performance and ready to move beyond gut instinct. Building the forecasting, visualisation, and statistical skills to lead evidence-based operational improvement.
Leading change initiatives and ready to back decisions with rigorous data. Developing the analytical and stakeholder skills to demonstrate measurable project impact.
Built on the Level 4 Data Analyst standard, this programme goes beyond data visualisation. It develops analysts who think like strategists, starting with the business question and working back to the data. Every unit is grounded in a real workplace project, building the skills to influence senior stakeholders and lead data-driven transformation, not just produce reports.

The programme runs across 8 workshops over 16 months, followed by end-point assessment.
The programme is fully funded for apprenticeship levy payers, meaning there is no direct cost to eligible employers. If your organisation does not pay the apprenticeship levy, you can still access significant funding for this programme. Speak to our team to check your organisation’s eligibility.
Learners achieve a qualification equivalent to a Level 4 Data Analyst standard, recognised across the UK as a credible qualification in advanced data analysis, statistical modelling, and business impact.
This programme is suitable for professionals who want to harness the power of data to drive strategic decisions and measurable business improvement.
Learners need to be in employment, and their employer needs to be eligible to access apprenticeship funding, which covers most organisations with a payroll over £3m, and many smaller ones too. Not sure if that’s you? Just give us a call and we will check in minutes.
Whether you want to pick up the phone and speak to us, or drop us an email, we’ll let you decide.
