Everything you need to know about studying with Learnmore
We’re a UK training provider with 15 years’ experience helping people develop the skills and confidence to move forward in their careers. We deliver qualifications, apprenticeships, and bespoke training across facilities management, leadership and management, women in leadership, HR, coaching, and more.
We focus on training that sticks. Our programmes are designed by experts who’ve done the jobs they’re teaching, delivered by coaches who genuinely care about your progress, and built around practical application rather than theory alone. 98% of our learners say they feel more confident in their role (Learnmore Learner Survey, 2024-25), and 75% go on to a promotion or take on more responsibility after completing their qualification (Learnmore Internal Data, 2024).
We’re accredited by the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM), the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and City and Guilds. We’re also Ofsted-registered, which means our delivery quality is regulated and inspected.
Our head office is at The Lantern, 75 Hampstead Road, London, NW1 2PL. But we deliver nationwide, so you don’t need to be near us to study with us.
We offer four main types of training. Professional qualifications including IWFM (Levels 3 to 6), ILM, and CIPD. Apprenticeships covering leadership and management, women in leadership, HR and coaching, hospitality, care, early years and education, business and administration, security, and warehousing and supply chain. E-learning and short skills courses for focused development. And bespoke training designed around your organisation’s specific needs.
Our courses are for people at every stage of their career. Whether you’re stepping into your first leadership role, building technical expertise in facilities management, moving into senior management, or developing your wider team, we have programmes that match where you are and where you want to go.
Most of our courses don’t have formal entry requirements. What matters is that you choose a level that matches your current experience and responsibilities. If you’re not sure which level is right for you, get in touch and we’ll help you work it out.
Most of our programmes are delivered remotely, so you can study from home or work without travelling. Some apprenticeships include face-to-face surgery days or networking lunches. You’ll have access to an online learning portal, a dedicated coach, and tutor support throughout your programme.
Yes. Our programmes are designed to fit around busy working lives. You’ll apply what you learn directly to your role, which makes the learning relevant and means you’re not choosing between career and development.
It depends on the qualification. IWFM qualifications are assessed through coursework assignments or professional discussions with no exams. Leadership and management qualifications typically involve a mix of written assignments, presentations, and professional discussions. Apprenticeships include an End Point Assessment, which may involve a portfolio, presentation, and professional discussion. We’ll explain exactly what’s involved for the course you choose.
Course lengths vary. An IWFM Level 6 Award can be completed in 4 months, a Certificate in 9 months, and a Diploma in 12 to 15 months. The ILM Level 7 Senior Leader Diploma runs over 14 to 16 months. Your coach will help you plan a timeline that works alongside your role.
You won’t be studying alone. You’ll get a dedicated coach who guides you through the programme, access to our online learning portal, resources and good practice materials, and one-to-one tutor support. Where relevant, apprentices also receive maths and English tutoring if needed.
If a written assessment isn’t the right format for you, alternative options are available. Get in touch, and we’ll talk through what works best for your situation.
Life happens. If you need to pause your studies for personal or professional reasons, speak to your coach and we’ll work out the best way to support you.
Costs vary by qualification. For example, the IWFM Level 6 Award is £1,200 plus VAT, the Certificate is £2,700 plus VAT, and the Diploma is £5,300 plus VAT. The ILM Level 7 Senior Leader Diploma is £3,150 plus VAT. Apprenticeships have maximum funding bands set by the government, and the Level 7 Women in Leadership Senior Leader Apprenticeship sits at a max funding band of £14,000. We’ll give you a clear cost breakdown for any course you’re considering.
Yes, if your employer pays the apprenticeship levy, they can use their levy funds to cover the cost of apprenticeship training, up to the funding band maximum. If your organisation doesn’t pay the levy, you share the cost with the government through co-investment. Employers pay 5% of apprenticeship training costs, and the government pays the remaining 95%, up to the funding band maximum.
Lots of people invest in their own development, and we try to make that as manageable as possible. Payment plans are available for many of our programmes. Some qualifications, including those aligned with IWFM, may also be eligible for tax relief, so check the UK Government’s approved professional bodies list.
We sometimes run promotions, such as our recent World FM Day offer. The best way to see current deals is to visit our website or get in touch with us directly.
No. Apprenticeships are open to anyone aged 16 or over, with no upper age limit. Plenty of our apprentices are experienced professionals using apprenticeships to formalise their expertise or step up into a new role.
Yes. Apprenticeships aren’t just for new hires. They’re a powerful way to develop the people you already have, build loyalty, and create a clear career pathway. Many of our apprentices are existing employees moving into more senior roles or formalising the skills they’ve built on the job.
The Digital Apprenticeship Service, or DAS, is the online platform employers use to manage apprenticeships. You’ll use it to set up your account, reserve funding, add apprentices, and select your training provider. If your organisation is new to apprenticeships, we can walk you through the process or send you our employer’s guide.

Often yes. Many organisations have training budgets that go underused. Some have specific funds for leadership development or professional qualifications. Others can use the apprenticeship levy. If you’d like help building a business case, we’ve got content and templates that can help.
That depends on the course, how it’s funded, and whether you’re joining an existing cohort. Some programmes have rolling start dates, while apprenticeships typically start on set dates throughout the year. Get in touch, and we’ll let you know what’s available.
