Do I ned to be an experienced manager to do this programme?
Not at all. The ILM Level 5 is well-suited to ambitious managers ready to take the next step, as well as those looking to formalise and deepen their existing experience. It provides a strong knowledge base and the practical skills needed to progress into more senior leadership roles.
Is there a formal qualification?
Yes, participants will receive an ILM Level 5 Leadership and Management Certificate or Diploma on achievement of the qualification. We will send this to you as soon as we receive the certificate.
Can my company run this as an in-house programme?
Yes. We offer bespoke in-house delivery for organisations wanting to run the programme with their own cohort of managers. We’ll tailor content to your sector, culture, and strategic priorities.
What is the time commitment per week?
You can expect to spend approximately 4 hours per week including live sessions, self-directed learning, and reflective practice tasks, but this will vary. Sessions are designed to be flexible around working schedules.
Can I study while I'm working full time?
