FAQ
Do I need to work in HR to enrol on this programme?
Not at all. The programme is designed for anyone looking to develop their people management and HR skills, whether you are an existing manager wanting to strengthen your HR knowledge, or someone aspiring to move into an HR or people management role for the first time.
Is there a formal qualification?
Yes, participants will receive a Level 3 CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice on completion of the programme. We will send this to you as soon as we receive the certificate.
Can my company run this as an in-house programme?
Yes. We offer bespoke in-house delivery for organisations wanting to run the programme with their own cohort of managers. We’ll tailor content to your sector, culture, and strategic priorities.
How many assignments are there? What is the word count for the assignments?
There are 4 assignments and these vary with word count ranging from 2500 to 5000. Each assignment will be slightly different in word count.
How often would I meet with my coach?
You will meet with your coach at least every 8 weeks, so we can check in on your progress and provide any additional support you need. But please do reach out more regularly than this, and let us know if you’d like to catch up more regularly.
What is the time commitment per week?
You can expect to spend approximately 4-6 hours per week including live sessions, self-directed learning, and reflective practice tasks, but this will vary. Sessions are designed to be flexible around working schedules.
Can I study while I'm working full time?
Absolutely, that’s exactly how it’s designed to work. Because the assessments are based on your actual job, your workplace becomes part of your learning journey. You won’t need to take time off or study into the early hours. Many of our programmes are delivered through blended learning, combining workshops, online resources, and one-to-one support, so you can fit your studies around your schedule.
What are the payment options?
You can pay by BACS transfer, one full Stripe payment (10% off), or choose monthly instalments via GoCardless.
Can I use the apprenticeship levy for this course?
Unfortunately not – but we offer apprenticeship programmes that are levy-funded. See apprenticeship courses.
When can I start the course?
You can start at any time — our cohorts start every 4–8 weeks.
