FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Not necessarily. While you don’t need to work in Facilities Management to enrol, having some exposure to an FM environment will help you contextualise your learning and get the most out of the qualification. Level 3 is a great introduction to the profession, making it ideal for those new to FM or looking to formalise their understanding.

Participants receive a Level 3 IWFM accredited certificate Diploma, Certificate or Award on completion. We can also support application toward a CMI qualification for those seeking formal recognition. You can ask us for more details.

Yes. We offer bespoke in-house delivery for organisations wanting to run the programme with their own cohort of managers. We’ll tailor content to your sector, culture, and strategic priorities.

You can expect to spend approximately 4 hours per week including live sessions, self-directed learning, and reflective practice tasks, but this will vary. Sessions are designed to be flexible around working schedules.

Absolutely, that’s exactly how it’s designed to work. Because the assessments are based on your actual job, your workplace becomes part of your learning journey. You won’t need to take time off or study into the early hours. Many of our programmes are delivered through blended learning, combining workshops, online resources, and one-to-one support, so you can fit your studies around your schedule.

IWFM membership is included in your qualification. You’ll have access to your membership once we have registered your qualification with IWFM. Your free membership lasts until your course finishes with a maximum duration of 2 years.

You can pay by BACS transfer, one full Stripe payment (10% off), or choose monthly instalments via GoCardless.

Unfortunately not – but we offer apprenticeship programmes that are levy-funded. See apprenticeship courses.

You can start at any time – our cohorts start every 4–8 weeks.
