You'll learn about:
1. Becoming an effective leader
In this module you will start to assess your own ability as a leader in different situations and with different people. You will understand how to set direction and communicate in order to motivate and empower others.
2. Leadership capability and performance
In this module you will explore you own leadership style in a range of situations and its impact.
You will understand how build commitment to your organisation’s values and goals.
3. Building effective teams
In this module you will evaluate your ability to develop and lead teams to achieve organisational goals. You will understand how to measure team performance against organisational objectives to improve effectiveness.
4. Driving transformational change
In this module, you will be able to identify areas of change arising from organisational analysis.
You will understand how to develop and review a successful change plan.
5. People development
In this module you will assess the benefits of developing people to the individual and your organisation. You will understand how to evaluate different methods of development and how to implement an appropriate plan.
6. Managing conflict
In this module you will assess the effectiveness of your own organisation in recognising workplace stress and conflict. You will understand how to identify, plan and implement approaches to manage potential situations effectively.
7. Leading projects
In this module you will be able evaluate your own ability to manage a project. You will understand the tools and techniques required and how to plan, communicate and implement effective projects successfully.
8. Financial Management
In this module you will analyse an organisation's sources of finance and the range of financial stakeholders. You will understand the role of key financial documentation and the process of setting and controlling budgets.
9. Equality and Diversity in the workplace
In this module you will evaluate your organisation's implementation of equality and diversity policy and legal requirements. You will understand how to make recommendations for improving the management of equality and diversity.
