Celebrate World FM Day 2026 with a qualification that recognises the work you do

World FM Day is back on Wednesday 13 May 2026, and this year’s theme is cultivating belonging through built environments. It’s a day set aside by the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management to recognise the people who keep workplaces running, and to raise the profile of a profession that influences the health, safety, productivity, and wellbeing of everyone who uses the built environment.

At Learnmore, we think that’s worth celebrating properly. So we’re running a World FM Day offer on our IWFM-accredited qualifications, and if you enrol during the offer period, we’ll send you a gift to say thank you for investing in your FM career.

What the offer includes

The offer runs from Monday 27th April to Friday 22nd May. Enrol on one of the qualifications below during that window and you’ll receive either an Amazon Kindle Paperwhite or an Apple Watch Series 10 as a free gift, the choice is yours.

The offer applies to new enrolments on:

  • IWFM Diplomas at Levels 3, 4, 5, and 6
  • IWFM Award in a Week programmes at Levels 4, 5, and 6

To qualify, payment needs to have been made via Stripe or GoCardless, or an invoice needs to have been issued to your company, by midnight on Friday 22nd May. Where an invoice is issued before the deadline, the gift is sent once full payment has been received. Full terms and conditions are on our website.

Why IWFM qualifications matter

IWFM qualifications are the professional standard in facilities management. They’re fully regulated, internationally recognised, and aligned with IWFM membership grades, meaning they help you achieve professional standing faster than experience alone. The IWFM represents over 17,000 members, and when you see letters like AIWFM, MIWFM, or CIWFM after someone’s name, those post-nominals carry weight with employers and clients.

For anyone building a career in FM, a qualification gives you something experience alone can’t. Formal recognition. A credential you can put on your CV, your LinkedIn, and your email signature. And a structured way to fill in the gaps in knowledge that most people pick up on the job.

Why study with Learnmore

We’ve spent 15 years helping people build careers through professional development, and FM training is one of our specialisms. We’re a member of the IWFM and fully accredited to deliver their qualifications, and we’re Ofsted-registered, which means the quality of our delivery is independently assured.

Our trainers come from FM backgrounds. They’ve done the job, they understand what the role actually involves, and they bring that experience into every workshop.

The outcomes back it up. 75% of our learners go on to be promoted or take on more responsibility after completing their qualification, and 98% say they feel more confident in their role. That’s the kind of return that makes the investment worth it, whether you’re funding it yourself or asking your employer to back you.

Choosing the right qualification for you

If you’re not sure which level is right for you, here’s a quick guide.

Level 3 is for first-line managers, supervisors, and those new to FM or looking for a career change. Typical roles include Facilities Coordinator, Team Leader, and Office Manager.

Level 4 is for operational managers responsible for day-to-day FM operations. Typical roles include Facilities Manager, Premises Manager, and Contract Manager.

Level 5 is for senior and specialist facilities managers shaping FM strategy, managing multiple sites, or leading significant change programmes.

Level 6 is for senior FM leaders responsible for long-term strategy, procurement, governance, and risk at an executive level. Typical roles include Head of FM and Facilities Director.

You don’t have to start at Level 3 and work your way up. You can enter at the level that matches your current experience and responsibilities.

The Award in a Week option

If you want to earn a recognised IWFM qualification without committing to a long study programme, our Award in a Week course might be the right fit. It’s available at Levels 4, 5, and 6, and it’s designed for busy FM professionals who want a focused, intensive way to pick up a credential and get back to the day job.

Ready to take the next step

World FM Day is about recognising the value of FM professionals and the work they do. A qualification is one of the most tangible ways to put that recognition into practice, both for yourself and for the people on your team.

If you’d like to talk through which qualification is right for you, we’d be happy to help.

Contact us to enrol and claim your World FM Day gift. The offer closes at midnight on Friday 22nd May.
